Feedback on Rooms in Titanic Gendarmenmarkt Berlin

We are traveling to Berlin March 2026. Will be in Berlin March 4 to March 10 for 6 nights. My wife was at Berlin in the 80's, but I have never been to Berlin before.

Good friends that have lived in Berlin years ago and go back frequently recommended the Westin or Titanic Gendarmenmarkt Berlin. We are focusing on Titanic Gendarmenmarkt Berlin. While Titanic Gendarmenmarkt is expensive, Westin was much more expensive.

We looked at Trip Advisor and Titanic Gendarmenmarkt seems to have good reviews.

Any one have suggestion on rooms for 2 60 year old adults? The Classic/Deluxe/Superior all have identical description but different prices.

we are planning on ..

One day for Reichstag Building and Brandenburg Gate and area
One Day for Museum Island
One day for Potsdam Day Trip
One day for Sachsenhausen Day Trip
One Day for whatever

and any other suggestions?

Berlin covers a huge area, so you might want to shorten ways a little bit.

Just a thought regarding ways: for the both day trips with S7 and S1 (see S-Bahn network map) hotels around station Friedrichstrasse are better located. You might want to look at Meliá Berlin, Leonardo Hotel Berlin Mitte or Maritim proArte Hotel Berlin?

Nothing against Titanic Gendarmenmarkt Berlin.

Book hotel asap because your stay dates lay over with tourism fair ITB.

So, everything new to her as well. :-) Believe me, I was growing up in Berlin's center.

A HoHo bus tour on day 1 would give you a good overview.

Have a good journey.
