Feedback on Garmisch Partenkirchen 5 day plan

Thinking of coming in May. Is 5 days too much?

Day 1 (half day)
• Garmish - old town
• Alpspitze
• Ruins of Werdenfels castle for viewpoint
• Lake view at Pflegersee
• Dinner at Berggasthof Pflegersee

Day 2
• Hike to Hammersbacher Fußweg
• Walk all the way to Ebisee
• Take bus to Grainau. See church.
• Cable car up to Zugspitze

Day 3
• Mittenwald
• Walchensee if time?

Day 4
• Partenkirchen old town. Ludwigstraße
• Wank Mountain
• Wagenbrüchsee (bus 9608 or 9618?) and Barmsee - walk.

Day 5
• See Ski jump
• Partnachklamm Gorge
• Lunch at Kaiserschmarrn Alm

Questions
1. What else can I do on Day 5, seems a bit light.
2. Logistically, have i group to do things correctly?
3. I've chosen to go up 3 mountains, Zugspitze, Wank and Alpspitze. Should I swap it out with another one like Herzogstand.
4. Are there any easy family friendly hikes you can recommend that will give me good views and luscious green meadows. Not interested in going inside forests and prefer a good footpath. Would there be concerns of ticks and snakes and wild animals when hiking?
5. I won't have a car, are all the above achievable by public transport?
6. Any suggestions of other places I should slot in?
7. One of the days above is a Sunday. Shops will be closed but will the sites be opened?

Thank you.

I have recommended these before for easy hikes. If you plan a stop I would check the opening times. You have already mentioned a few:

The hill up from Garmisch is a little steep from my memory, but look at the a walk around the Riessersee. It's a quiet corner right in Garmisch with the Seehaus Restaurant for a bite or drink. Famous for the old Olympic site and Bobsled run. There is a small museum there. You can continue to the Alpspitzbahn and Aule Alm Train back?
Take the Wankbahn to the top for the Wankbahn Wanderwege. Really nice here with great views of Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the Zugspitz and seems to be a senior magnet. Wankhaus too for a bite and drink.
You can also see the Barmsee outside of Garmisch that is another nice walk around and again the Barmsee Hotel for a stop.
Mittenwald around the Lautersee. Seehof Lautersee for a stop. Really nice in sunny weather and in Winter too. You can continue to the Ferchensee and Gasthaus Ferchensee.
Another favorite is up to the Kriegergedächtniskapelle Garmisch and further to the Berggasthof Almhütte.
Don't miss a short walk along/near the Loisach river for some older Garmisch.
A longer stretch is a trip to Ehrwald in Austria. A walk across the Golfclub Tiroler Zugspitze in the Zugspitz Areana with the Zugspitz and Sonnenspitz is something I return too. Many old paintings of this bowl. The Romans built a road across the then swamp from the Fernpass. Ehrwalder Almbahn too.

Thank you for the recommendations.

Where does the Aule Alm Train take me?

The town of Ehrwald looks really pretty. Is it easy to get there by public transport? The view from the little church is gorgeous.

You can also see the Barmsee outside of Garmisch that is another nice walk around and again the Barmsee Hotel for a stop.

The day i do Wagenbrüchsee would be the day I do Barmsee if there is time. Looks to be about 1 hour walk away. Is this a relatively nice and easy walk across?

Sorry for my bad punctuation... Aule Alm for a stop for something to eat and drink (if open). The train back would be the cog train from the Alpspitzbahn back to Garmish.

Ehrwald is more for nature, hiking, skiing in winter etc. The town is nice, but I would not go there just for the town. It is the beauty of the Zugspitz Arena. One place for green meadows would be at the Ehrwald Alm. I drive but it looks like regular bus service from Garmish to Ehrwald.

I have never been to the Wagenbrüchsee. The Barmsee walk is flat and passes through some marshy areas.
