I know I asked this question before but it was by the HBF that I was looking for. Now I'm looking for one in a different area, within easy walking distance of a S/U bahn stop and only a few stops from HBF. I need either a family room or triple room, preferrably no more than $125 per night. Any recomendations?

When? This makes all the difference in the world when looking for a hotel in Frankfurt. The trade fairs change the hotel prices a lot.

There is a trade fair happening, Light + Building, as well as the Luminale, as there aren't a lot of hotels available and the prices are on the high side. If you are a photographer, you will love the Luminale!
The best I found was the Holiday Inn Express on Gutleut Str.
