extension cords and european heating pads with correct voltage

For health reasons I want a heating pad to use in Munich, Germany, Lucerne, Switzerland, Paris and London.. I am worried about locating one to purchase while there especially in the historic areas and I've done a good bit of research on the availablity etc. I would rather have a bird in hand if possible then spending valuable touring time looking for one if possible. I have found this one on amazon - do you think it would work?

I always travel with an US branded/us voltage one in the states and also an extension cord bc of lack of plugs by the bed, expansion outlets, length to bed ffm outlet in the room etc. Are extension cords easier to find in Munich? i did find this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015HKW7M6/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1C9S0ORKRHST6
but was unsure f it would work or any other options you can think of.. I have no idea about what I am talking about so your help and being nice is appreciated = I know my ignorance is an easy target :)

US heating pads will NOT work in Europe. You have to have a European one. On that note, I needed one this summer. All I could find in Amsterdam or Paris were chemical -one time use- ones. I would suggest looking at ebay the UK version and see if any are available. If so, then all you will need is a plug converter.

one will work fine. When you get it, make sure the wall plug will fit the country you are going to. If not, then just by an adapter.

I do not think the extension cord will work. Not enough amperage- (for PC Computer PDU UPS 2.5 Amp Rated). It is for computers, not heavy duty use. You can by extension cords in Europe at any drug store, department store, or any 5/10 type stoe.

You might also want to consider bringing a hot water bottle. No need for electricity. Just fill it up from the tap.

Here is one in the UK. http://www.argos.co.uk/product/3047761 How you order it I'm not sure. Boots (part of Walgreens) in London may have these as well. And, if your doctor approves, Voltarol (Voltaren in the US) is available as a gel without a prescription (ask the druggist, chemist in the UK). It's an NSAID, similar to ibuprofen. Rub a penny sized glob a few times a day where it hurts. Sure helped my multi-herniated disc lumbar pain.

As usual on Amazon, the plug is not shown. Is it a two-round-pin continental European plug or a US 2-blade plug? However, the "Customer Q & A" section indicated it had a European 2-round-pin plug. It is probably a CEE 7-17 plug approved for use with more than 2½ amps with that particular appliance. But because the extension cord noted could be used with any applicance, whether approved for a non-grounding plug or not, it's only rated (as shown on the webpage) for 2½ amps. not enough for the pad. No one can stop you from using it, but you won't be strictly legal.
