Europass Family 24h mini with 12 year old to Strasbourg

Not sure if anyone can help me but...We are staying in Gengenbach for 3 nights in the Black Forest and then staying in Strasbourg for one night before flying to Provence.

I understand the Konus card I receive from my hotel will cover the trip from Gengenbach to Kehl. I was planning to purchase the Europass Family 24 h Mini. However, my daughter is 12 which according to their rules will cover her for the train ride from Kehl to Strasbourg but not the metro trams in Strasbourg as that portion is for under 12. crazy confusing I know?? Should I buy her a separate Adult Europass mini or just pay as I go for her tram rides? I could just get the 24h tram ride pass in Strasbourg.

Also, does the Europass 24h mini cover my trip from Strasbourg to the airport the next morning or do I need to purchase a separate shuttle ticket or should I get the regular Europass 24h?

These rules are super complex for families that's for sure.

What is this "Europass Family 24 h Mini" and how much does it cost?
I find it hard to believe that a pass could pay for itself when the only trips you will do are Kehl to Strasbourg centre, Strasbourg centre to the airport and possibly some short hops in Strasbourg city centre.
Kehl is really a suburb of Strasbourg, but is also the last station in Germany. It is served by city buses connecting to the trams, and they are currently extending the tram network to Kehl station.

It will almost certainly be cheaper to just buy individual tickets as you need them.

From the CTS website for the Europass Mini 24H

Ticket valid for 24h for unlimited rides on bus-tram lines an TER Trains within
the greater Strasbourg area (CUS) and on the Kehl (Germany) TGO buses.
Two options:
- 1 adult and 2 children (age 4 to 12) ticket 6,60 €
- 2 adults and 2 children (age 4 to 12) family ticket 10,90 €

Looks OK to me for what you want to do.

For 10,90 Euros for 2 adults and 1 child... Including all of trams, buses etc in Strasbourg. That seems decent to me price wise. It's designed specifically for folks who are day tripping over the border.

It just isn't clear it covers my shuttle to the airport the next morning. I will probably have to ask at the train station.
