Can one get the initial Eurailpass Validation at a S-Bahn Bahnhof in Berlin?
Is it a staffed one?
Good point. I don't know. I'll be staying near the Savignyplatz S-Bahn. I'll research it, but from your answer I take it that if it is staffed, they are authorized to validate Eurailpasses.
According to this web site Savignyplatz is unmanned.
Thanks for the S-Bahn website. It shows the nearby Zoo Bahnhof has a Reisezentrum, so I should be good to go on validation.
My forum question has been answered. Thanks!
The Savignyplatz S-Bahn station has no staff working there. Only the S-Bahn ticket machines are located on the platforms, at one end Savignyplatz is the exit, at the other end Bleibtreustrasse. That is the station nearest to my Pension. Do it at Berlin train station, Zoo, Ostbahnhof, Hbf, Spandau, etc
