Is Esslingen's Medieval market only at Christmas time? It was highly recommended to me, but we'll be in Germany in June.

Yes, it is just at Christmas time.
There are medieval festivals all over Germany through the rest of the year. Where will you be and when in June?

We're going to be driving from Köln to Oberammergau, taking 2-3 days, around June 20,21,22.
And we'll be in Oberammergau for 4 more days after that.
