In May, we are going to see the Luther sites in Erfurt, Eisenach, Eisleben, Wittenberg and Leipzig. My wife and I would like to go to. Flossenbürg, to see the monument and the place where Bonhoeffer was executed. What is the most efficient way to get from Erfert to Flossenbürg, or is there another location in our list that might be the better place. Given distance, and given the means, by motorcar for higher, bus, or train what do you suggest is our best option?

You might take the time to explore the Burgruine Flossenbürg too. Weiden is a porcelain city famous for china. You will find Bauscher and Seltmann in many restaurants around the world. There are outlet shops in town. If you like Beer, the area is also famous for community Brauerei Zoigl Beer. Enjoy the Oberpfalz landschaft. You are also very close to the border with Czechia.
