I'm changing plans and may be entering Germany from France via train. Besides my CDC card, what else do I need? (I'm traveling on a U.S. passport but will have been in Europe for two weeks prior.)

Yeah, but those don't affect your border crossing. They will only apply in certain locations like restaurants or other venues.

true, Anna, but when throwing out one plan because of pass requirements it is worth knowing the pass requirements of Plan B.

@Nigel, maybe we just read the question in two different ways. The way I read it was that only the direction from which Frank was entering Germany was changing, so he needed to know the requirements for the inner-European border crossing.

maybe? could be either, and Frank II is very experienced at inter-European travel so ?? The question could be interpreted either way. In the other thread it sounds like he will only try one TGV with his CDC card and then fly. ??
