EES in Frankfurt?

Can anybody tell me if there are any significant delays in using the new Entry/Exit System (EES) at FRA?

In May, we are flying Condor Air from YVR to FRA. We only have 1 hour and 45 minutes to transfer to our FRA to BER flight (same Condor Air ticket). Is there any significant risk that we will miss our connection?

Thanks.

The happy thought is if the EES processing is adding time, Condor will be aware of that by May and probably/hopefully move up your YVR departure.

Otherwise as a single ticket journey, I wouldn't fret too much; its on them to schedule enough time or they have to take care of you.

That is my thinking, also. Condor has lots daily flights into FRA. I'm just wondering if EES has started in FRA and if there have been any delays. I keep reading articles making a big fuss over EES.

We were in South Korea and used face recognition and fingerprint scanning machines at the airport. I am not sure if it was the same as EES. After a long flight, I was too tired to care and just followed the crowd. Frankly, it was not a big deal. It only took about a minute.

There is no real big issue - it is just the same what Europeans traveling to USA for example experiencing since decades.

And furthermore the results show that it is needed and effective.

If flights FRA - BER are booked out just take the train.
