Hello! Can you help with suggestions for Easter week (starting on Tuesday) in Munich and nearby areas We’d like to join catholic traditions and celebrations, while traveling to nearby towns and castles. We can rent a car. It’ll be our first time visiting this area.

If you have the chance I recommend to stay over May 1st in Bavaria to experience also the tradition of Maibaum (Maypole).

I recommend you wait a couple months until after the New Year starts. Then you can get the dates for the events. Right now everything is geared towards Christmas.
Bavaria is very Catholic, so there should be some special events, but there aren't a lot of what most people consider "castles". There are some excellent Schloss (think "palace"). But the area around Munich is pretty flat, which doesn't lend itself to moats and turreted towers.
Just be advised that there are both federal and local holidays at that time of year and those can impact such things as transport and services.
