Driving from Konstanz to Rothenberg O.D.T and back

I will be renting a car to drive from Konstanz to Rothenberg O.D.T. to attend an event for a few days and then drive back to Konstanz. Any advice on routes to take there and back to take in some sights would be great. Thanks
