Hey Team.
So, yeah, we're driving the classic Fussen to Dolomites via Brenner Pass drive. Any suggestions on nice stops along the way or particular places to take a quick look in Innsbruck?

From your other posts, looks like you are going from Switzerland to Venice. Where are you getting the car? You do know about very high drop fees to rent in one country and drop in another. Vignette required for Austria? Need for an IDP for all drivers?

Driving Brenner is a limited good idea because of construction on the new Lueg Bridge

We usually stop off at Sterzing, IT. The Luegbrücke on the Brenner Autobahn will be down to one lane causing delays. I have avoided the Brenner Autobahn over the years and taken secondary roads, but they will probably have more traffic too.

If you are doing this in one day, Vipiteno (Sterzing) or Bressanonne are both good stops. Quick pop into Stift Stams on the way?
