Hello, my family of four plus our former Rotary exchange student from France are taking a trip to see a friend in Vienna via Prague, starting from Brussels. We hope to do this in two days, staying somewhere half-wayish overnight. Looks as though Nuremberg would be a good mid-way point but I'd like to check with folks who know the area best. I realize that this itinerary gives Germany severe short-shrift, but that was not our country of interest for this particular trip. I'd love to spend a few hours in a few lovely German villages or cities to help whet that appetite for our next overseas adventure. Any suggestions? Thanks!
