Driving Conditions around Fussen and Mittenwald in early may

Hi folks: I''m reposting this.

We will be renting a car in Fussen for 2-3 days (after coming in on by train from Munich) to see the sights, and possibly drive to Zurich, We will be heading to Mittenwald, Ehren, etc. and I'm wondering what the roads will be like the first week of May. Fine, good, dangerous, treacherous? Tom from upstate NY responded earlier today, indicating that the it should be fine, as there are no mountain passes to traverse. Thanks, Tom.

We've been to Mittenwald in late April and had zero trouble with road conditions. We've also been to the area in early Dec. twice (2010 and 2013) and had no trouble driving even though it snowed a few days.

I would not worry about early May.
