I will be passing through Dresden enroute to Prague.
Is it possible to get a few pieces of nice Dresden/Meissen porcelain while there?

Töpferstraße, the street that connects the castle and the Neumarkt, has several shops which sell Saxon premium products. There are two Meissen shops, a Lange & Söhne shop, and a Glashütte Original shop (in case you need a watch too). ;-)

If you are going from Prague to Vienna , be sure to look at the Augarten porcelain while there .

You can shoot over to Meissen and buy at the factory where the items are produced (we did).

A point of interest - A certain amount of Meissen produced porcelain was decorated ( hand painted ) in Dresden by numerous workshops back in the day .
