Ditching First Leg of Deutsche Bahn Journey?

I've a DB train ticket booked from Bad Cannstatt station, connecting on an ICE train at Stuttgart Central Station going to Munich Central Station. I booked Bad Cannstatt as the origin because our hotel was nearby.

We've since had to change hotels and are now staying in the Stuttgart city center. It doesn't really make sense to go out to Bad Cannstatt just to pick up the first leg of the journey, since we're now much closer to the Stuttgart Central Station.

Can I just skip the first leg of the trip, and get on the connecting train at the Stuttgart Central Station? I have an non-changeable, non-refundable ticket (Super Spar Preis), so do not want to cancel and rebook if avoidable.

Thank you, and Keep On Traveling!

Yes. This is not a problem. Just buy a new ticket to get to Stuttgart Hbf (on local transport, if too far to walk), and get on the next train there.

Yes. You don't need to book a new ticket to Stuttgart since you are in Stuttgart.
