Dining near Philharmoniker

I would like to know if there's any good restaurant or cafe near the Berlin Philharmoniker. I'll be attending a concert that starts at 7pm so would like to have dinner around 5:30. I realize this is abysmally early for Eurpeans...in France I would go to a cafe. Does Berlin operate the same way?
One more slightly related question: Where is the Musical Instruments Museum? Rick mentions it in the new guidebook but doesn't provide information such as hours or address.
Thanks in advance!

From a recent visit I can recommend the Joseph-Roth-Diele at Potsdamer Straße 75, ca. 1km south of the Kulturforum (philharmonic building). It's named after the Austrian writer Joseph Roth (»Radetzkymarsch«, »Kapuzinergruft«), who lived in the building during the twenties. From the Kulturforum you can take bus M48 to Lützowstraße (2 stops). We went on foot from the State Library at the Kulturforum and it took less than 15 min.

The Musical Instruments Museum (Musikinstrumentenmuseum) is in the Kulturforum.
