Deutschland Ticket

We will be in Germany from 11/29 - 12/12/25 and having done the math have found that if my spouse and I each have a €58 Deutschland Ticket it will be a savings for the many regional trains and public transit we will use. Our plan is to buy each of a DT for December a few days before leaving USA on 11/28/25. I have found this site :

https://germanytransitpass.com/

which allows for purchase by selecting the chosen calendar month (December) and selecting the immediate termination option. We would load our cards on our respective Apple Wallets for ease of use.
Does anyone have any experience with this website and can we buy individual DT’s during the same purchase transactions or must we have separate sign ins?
Appreciate in advance any help.

I do not have experience with them, but they are recommended by "The Man in Seat 61" https://www.seat61.com/train-travel-in-germany.htm#Deutschlandticket

I have used the other site he recommends, Tranzer a couple times now. With that site, I had to do two different transactions for my wife and I, but used the same account info. It loaded the ticket to my Google wallet and worked flawlessly.

Others will likely recommend some of the local transit companies like Munich's MVV, but these two companies mentioned are much more flexible and the auto-cancellation is nice, MVV would offer no additional benefit and a bit more hassle.

Are you aware that this is a calendar month based subscription which means that for your travel days you will need to pay 58 EUR plus Nov partial per person because travel dates will cover two calendar month?

Furthermore you need to cancel subscription until Dec 10 to avoid paying for January too,

Mark: Based on the OP's post above and on previous threads, I believe the OP is in fact aware of the DT calendar-month restrictions and has previously been counseled on checking into "rail and fly" - or going flex-fare - for their 11/29 ICE journey from FRA to Nuremberg for their stay in that city.

Yes I am aware of the calendar month limitations and intend to purchase for December only with immediate termination at time of purchase. I want to buy it while still in US that is why I mentioned our November 29 departure date with no need for the DT until December 1st. We have already bought ICE tickets for our non- regional transport journeys
