Deutsches Historisches Museum - how long to spend?

With the permanent collection closed until 2025, how long should you allow to view the Roads Not Taken exhibit? I understand that the answer would normally be half a day plus or minus but feel like it would be way less to see an exhibit that sounds pretty text-based.

Went to this exhibition earlier this year.

I think 3-5 hours would do justice to the breadth of the exhibition.

It is definitely worth a visit.
