We will be traveling with a group of 8 people and for the Germany portion of our trip the DB Bahn site doens't let us purchase 8 tickets. Does anyone know if it will let me purchase 4 tickets and print those off. Then purchase 4 more and print those off for our 8 total?

I don't see why not, but you won't then be able to get all your seats together. Personally, I would contact DB by phone and ask about larger group bookings.

Had another look - go to www.bahn.com, select USA (I assume you're from the US), select "Services" at the top of the page, and click on the small "Travel - as a group" link towards the bottom of the page. That will then take you to a page where you can book tickets for groups of 6-49 people at discounted rates.
