I just booked two train tickets for the first time on DB navigator app-
On both - while I see my ticket is for the correct day - on the top of the ‘journey’ summary tab it lists the day prior. For example I have a ticket for 27 June (listed correctly in the ticket info) but above the journey info in big letters it reads ‘Thu 26 June 2025’
Not too concerned since the ticket is correct but was just curious why …if anyone knows. Thanks.
@mggtavel I have noticed the exact same thing on my DB tickets. It makes me nervous. I have a hard enough time managing to be at the correct train station, at the correct time, on the correct day, in the correct country, without this nagging fear that my reservation is wrong! I hope a seasoned DB traveler can confirm that our tickets are supposed to have this date issue.
Yes - ! and my other question is if there is any way to add db tix to Apple wallet - like I’ve been able to do with sbb and Trenitalia .
What time are your tickets for and does your current time zone put you in the day before? I believe the app knows what time it is where you are currently located. So, for example, if your tickets are for 8am, and you are currently in California, it's 11pm the day before.
Both tickets are in the afternoon German time so that wouldn’t change the day for PST. Like I mentioned under the ticket details it lists the correct day so not overly concerned - just seems strange to list the day before on both journey summaries.
