Greetings,
Using Munich as a base, we are planning to take up to 4 day-trips starting the first week in May. We will have a rental car. Places that are within two hours of Munich and interest us are: Ettal, Prien am Chiemsee, Garmisch/Mittenwald, Regensberg, Landsberg Augsburg, some of the smaller Romantic Road towns and, not to be overlooked, Andechs. We have been to Salzburg twice, stayed in Mittenwald a couple of years ago and have visited Neuschwanstein and the Zugpitze. We are hoping to find new sights and activities on this trip. We are in our early 70s, but are comfortable with moderate hiking and other outdoor activities. As always thank you for any comments, suggestions, etc.
