Day trip to Potsdam

Myself and my wife will be visiting Potsdam as a day trip from Berlin during last week of July, on a weekday. We will arrive by S Bahn or RE train from Friedrichstrasse station in the morning and planning to take bus 695 from Potsdam HBF, going to Sanssoucie palace. We have purchased timed tickets for entry in the morning. We are also hoping to visit Neues Palais (New palace) within the park area but I note it is a 23 minutes walk, per google Map. We are very keen to visit Cecilienhof palace during the day but not sure How we could get to Cecilenhof palace from either Sanssoucie or New Palace. I understand taxis are available at Sanssoucie palace area but I am keen to know from the experienced travellers on the forum whether there are any realistic options for public transport to Cecilienhof palace. Thanks very much for any suggestions in this regard.

FYI - The buses depart from the 'backside' of the Potsdam HBF.
We walked out of the HBF in the wrong direction going with the flow of people. The buses are on the side of the building away from town.
We took bus 695 from the Potsdam HBF to Sanssouci too and could have gotten on an earlier bus if we had been paying attention.
