Is Dachau open every day of the week? The RS guidebook says open daily, the Dachau website says Tues thru Sunday
We were hoping to go there on a Monday

Dachau Website: "Opening Hours Museum and Memorial Site
The memorial site is open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The memorial site is closed on December 24th.
No prior appointment is necessary and entry is free. If you travel to the memorial by car, please note that parking fees are €3,00 per car, and €5,00 for busses."

I read somewhere Mondays closed as well.

Lee, keep it easy. The same website lists opening times for library and archive which are different:
http://www.kz-gedenkstaette-dachau.de/archive.html
So, it depends what travelers want to use in Dachau.

I was just saying i saw it too but didn't have time to look it up. It says its on quite a few places on the internet actually. It used to have the administration office closed on Mondays so apparently that is where it came from.
