I am traveling to Romania with a connecting flight in Munich. Can I take cremated remains?
I tried the German consulate and they referred me to their customs people where I had to send an email.

No idea about Europe. But for US TSA security, look on their website about carrying cremains. You can NOT take a sealed urn thru security. Apparantly you can get a temporary TSA approved cremains container that can be xrayed. That's all assuming you don't want it in checked luggage...

Thank you for the info. Seems like the certificate is for if you are staying in Germany, not just passing through.
