I love to take one day cooking classes when traveling - and would hugely appreciate any suggestions for Berlin or Dresden. I've found the classes a wonderful introduction to local cuisine and a great way to spend the day - a change from museums and a window into local life, Any help would be enormously appreciated!!!

OK, so I know this is not a cooking class but you might enjoy the Berlin Mitte Food Tour (http://www.berlinfoodtour.de/tours/berlin-mitte-food-tour/). It took a little over 4 hours, and Bastian not only took us to wonderful cafes, bakeries, delis, breweries etc. but he talked about today's Berlin. You might want to do it in addition to a cooking class.

Thank you so much! This tour (and perhaps the "Secret Food Tours') are on my list of things to do. We have visited Berlin previously and visited the museums and done most of the walking tours so, this time, I'd like to do something different...I'm so glad you enjoyed the food tour and know that I shall.
