We plan on flying in on May 24, 2016 and spending 3 nights...heard this is a nice place to stay. We will be training in from Frankfort
Also, with only two full days in the area any suggestions? We then head to Paris for two nights and then on to Bordeaux for a Uniworld cruise.
If I were staying in Bacharach, I would stay at Im Malerwinkel. It's in a beautiful setting and not near the railroad tracks. It's had good reviews on this site. They also have a website in English.
I've stayed at Pension Lettie and noise from the railway didn't seem to be a problem. Perhaps it's "insulated" to some extent by the large stone walls of Kranenturm? Lettie will also do laundry if you need that, and she cooks a great breakfast.
