Looking for recommendations of brew houses to sample Kolsch in Cologne. Also, besides the cathedral, any favorite spots for photographs?

Not far from the Cathedral there's the large beer hall of Brauhaus Früh, one of the oldest Koelsch breweries.

Brauerei Paeffgen is my favorite. Beautiful covered garden, great beer, good food, not touristy.
