My Wife have a make to decision to make. We can spend Dec. 24th and 25th in either Munich or Berlin. We are both musicians and are looking for an amazing musical experience (sacred or secular).

There are numerous venues in both cities , but given the dates , things are likely to be on the quiet side .

I always take Berlin over Munich. Personal preference. Not divine revelation.

We often encounter fine musical performances at churches outside the regular service times-- some "free" but donations suggested.
Midnight mass on the 24th ?? We spend Christmas in Salzburg and find that pickings are slim on the 24th and 25th since most people want to be home with their families.
