Cheapest flights to Germany from LAX

Turkish. You do have to change planes in Istanbul, so its a long trip. Maybe add a stopover there. Everyone seems to love the service.

From LAX is a direct connection to Berlin with Air Berlin, cheaper than the major carriers. (One of the advantages living in Orange County.) From Berlin Tegel you can connect to Prague.

This LAX connection is the only one from the west coast. From SFO we get Düsseldorf, Munich, and Frankfurt to connect to.
