I had hoped to get 9 am and 11 am tour times, as Rick recommends, to the castles on June 29th. Unfortunately Neuschwanstein's earliest time is 1:55 pm already and the other castle would be 11:55 am (pickup time 1.5 hours before that). It kinda shoots our day as we were opening to see Linderhoff and Oberammergau as well.
We have a car and we're staying in Pingswang, only 17 min by car. What do you think the chances of getting on the 9 am tour if we arrive between 7-7:30 am at the ticket center in late June? Also, then we should be able to cancel our other tickets since it's 2 hours before, correct? We were thinking of keeping the current reservation just in CASE something goes awry.
