What is the most convenient way to get from Cesky Krumlove to Munich? We really want to spend one night there on our way from Prague to Munich. Train is much preferred, but it seems a little cumbersome. Should we hire a driver? Thanks.

There's a Flixbus in the afternoon, which covers the distance in approx. five hours. The train would imply several transfers (Czeske Budejovice, Linz and often also Salzburg) and take 6:30h to 7:30h.

We used this shuttle service for a Hallstatt>CK trip, then CK>Vienna. https://www.ckshuttle.cz/bus-cesky-krumlov-transfer/ The CK Shuttle service was quite good - prompt, clean, nice drivers, bottled water provided, and a scheduled rest stop.
When I clicked on CK>Munich, it looked like it was showing just a private transfer, but if you click further there is information about shared rides.
If you search the forum, you will probably find other good reviews of this service.
