Six adults are traveling to Munich in August. We will be there 2+ days. We are looking at buying one group card which is good for 5 people along with a single card for the 6th person. We intend to use this for primarily transportation to Munich from the airport to our Hampton Inn West and then to the heart of Munich as well as Dachau one morning. For the group card that is good for 5 people, will we always need to stay together when traveling or can the group split up? I believe the card is delivered via email but is it associated with 5 different people or 1 person who is the "owner" and needs to travel with the four other people while in Munich. Thanks for any advice. This seems like a great budget saver.

These are normally to one person as the lead traveler. and if it is like a Bayern Ticket, you write everybody's name on the back of the ticket. If someone wants to stay behind, the ticket is still good for the rest of the group, but if that other person wants to go somewhere, they will have to buy their own ticket.
Remember, it is a GROUP ticket, for a group traveling together. It is not 5 individual tickets.
