I’ve been trying to purchase 3 tickets from Berlin to Munich on Dec. 13. (I know the best prices for 1st class are bought in advance.) When I put I’m my date, I get a message that the date is outside the period covered by the timetable. The week before prices are listed. Anyone know anything?

Yes, the 10th is the first day of the new schedule.

The train time table changes mid October for mid December - this is every year. Keep checking back- but typically happens around Oct 8-17. We go over every year for the Xmas Markets and always have to wait to buy some of our tickets till October.

Yes, I'm waiting for the new timetables this year. And a plug for the Man in Seat 61 and his website. What a resource if you love European train travel! His info has helped us out for several years now and over about a dozen countries.
