It appears to have been remodeled. Looking for comfortable, quiet and accessible for early summer four days first week in June for family of 4 ( 2 all adults). Any recommendations with this property would be appreciated. Trying to decide between this and Hotel Am Vitualienmarkt. But Leaning toward Hotel Uhland. Or any alternatives to offer? Thanks!

I stayed there many years ago and was happy with th choice at that time. Friends who were staying in Munich for 6 months came to pick us up at the hotel and asked "How did you find this hotel?" It was in the RS guidebook at the time. If I remember correctly it was on a more residential street so it was quiet, and near public transit.

We stayed there almost 10 years ago and it worked well for us. Judging by the website, there have been major renovations/upgrades since we were there. I recall it was not a long walk from the train station. They were setting up for Oktoberfest when we were there, so we enjoyed walking around the outside of the site.

I stayed there a number of years ago and was very pleased with Hotel Uhland. The room was clean and comfortable and they served a great breakfast. Hopefully that's all still the same. It was a bit of a walk from the main station and Marienplatz but at the time I was somewhat younger and didn't mind.
