Travelers shall be prepared to not using local public transports this Friday and Saturday.
"The ver.di union has called for a nationwide warning strike in public transport. From Friday morning, February 27, until early Sunday morning, buses, trams, and subways will remain in their depots for 48 hours, according to the union."
So, it seems regional trains and S-Bahn will still operate.
"According to ver.di, Berlin and 13 cities in Bavaria, including Munich, Nuremberg, Fürth, Augsburg, Regensburg, Ingolstadt, Bamberg, Passau, Landshut, Schwabach, Bayreuth, Schweinfurt, and Dachau, will definitely be affected."
"It remains open whether there will be strikes in Baden-Württemberg, at Hamburger Hochbahn, and at Verkehrsbetriebe Hamburg-Holstein—decisions are to be made today and later this week. Lower Saxony is exempt from strikes, as a peace obligation remains in effect there until the end of March."
