We are at this hotel for two nights with out a car....
!. By train what is the best agenda for two days to see the area, we have come off a two week cruise so taking
a boat is not necessary but certainly an option.
Which towns are best to see in the two days and what activities in each of the towns..maybe two towns each day
if that makes sense.
How much time do we need to spend in Oberwesel?

1) I would encourage you to do a forum search on St. Goar, Bacharach, Boppard, Braubach, and Rüdesheim for starters. You should find my name and the names of many others who have already responded to questions like yours.
2) Oberwesel is a great place for hiking and walking. The Burghotel is not a good base for outings by train because of its location on the steep hillside above town. Plan on taxi rides to reach the railway station.
