I'm leaving Munich tomorrow morning for the US with a stopover at Heathrow. Is Munich to London considered international so I should get there 3 hours early or is 2 ok? Also British Airways won't let me check in online, I have to do it at the airport. Any idea how long that takes and how long security might be at 11AM? I can't remember the last time I've not been able to check in online. My whole British Airways experience has not been great.

You need to be there 3 hours before your flight. Besides checking in and clearing security, you need to clear Passport Control, since you are leaving the Schengen Zone. Who knows how long all that will take. Too many variables to be sure; but Munich is efficient. Your check in area should be terminal 1 area A.

Considering how Munich can have glitches, three hours is good. Last time I was there, I was in back of a woman who got lost trying to find the BA counter and the signage isn't the best.
