Braubach station have a ticket machine?

Does anyone know if the Braubach train station has a ticket machine? I was there a few years ago and was using a rail pass. I don’t remember seeing any machines. This time I am taking KD boat to Braubach and returning via rail to Rüdesheim.

As always, Thank You!

Some stations in the area lack ticket machines (Osterspai comes to mind) but Braubach still has one according to the DB page which checks on such things. I checked for you:

I'd like to point out that you don't need to buy the ticket in Braubach. You can buy a Braubach > Rüdesheim ticket at ANY STATION IN GERMANY on ANY DATE YOU LIKE for any particular travel date. The one-way fare is €15.30. The Rheinland-Pfalz ticket is a DAY PASS that also covers this route and others within the state - a good choice if you are traveling with additional persons for sure... €32/2, €36/3... Also available at all stations. Does this trip start in Rüdesheim... buy it there that morning or the day before if so.

you don't even need a ticket machine - the DB app and the apps of the local verkehrsverbund (local travel companies banded together), in this case VRM can sell the tickets in your phone anywhere you have internet.

And lastly, if there is no way to buy a ticket at the station you can buy the ticket on board from the conductor.

Not sure you can buy tickets on board regional trains from the conductors anymore. I believe they stopped that?

I think as well since DB is using the App the conductor is not selling tickets anymore.

No passenger is forced to use the DB app; we still have the right to purchase a conventional ticket. So if there is no vending machine, the only duty of a traveller is to contact the conductor immediately. And if there is no one on the train, the DB is out of luck.

By law the railways must make it possible to buy a ticket at the point of departure. So if there is no ticket vending machine, and no ticket office, then the conductor must sell tickets. If there is no conductor, well, that is the railway's problem.

In Switzerland there used to be a couple of stations where there was a sign kindly requesting you to buy your ticket upon arrival at your destination. :-)
