Boppard and St Goar accommodation, no air-con?

Hi,

I just check from Agoda, accommodations in Boppard and St Goar , Rhine Valley area. I could not find any with the detail of air conditioning. Are they really no air-con facility in these towns?

Any recommendation for a nice hotel would also be appreciated. I read that it's better to stay uphill as the train noise could be heard all day long.

TIA

Air conditioning is just not normal in Northern Europe (north of the Alps). It is simpy not needed. A hot summer day in northern Germany is 25°C, 30°C is a rare exception only reached in some recent years.

I am just worried with the humidity. Well I'm from South East Asia and it's definitely hotter here. It could reach up to 40 Celcius but to make it worse is the high humidity >_< we really depend on air con heavily here.

Jen,
It doesn't get that humid in Northern Europe. I don't think anywhere in Europe gets as humid as South East Asia. If you are from South East Asia and used to that climate I would be more worried about packing something to keep you warm when it drops to 15°C to 20°C in the evening.
