Boppard along the Rhine

Just wanted to say thank you to Russ and everyone else who helped me plan our trip! We did end up spending like 4 nights along the Rhine!

We stayed in Boppard which was a great choice - we visited Koblenz, St Goar and a bunch of other little towns along there and I think Boppard was by far the best choice as a base! We stayed at Hotel Bellevue ... no AC and it was fairly hot, but survivable!

First day we went up to Koblenz. Next day we took the train down to Bingen and took the boat back up to Boppard. The next day we rented bikes and rode Boppard to Oberwesel and back with some stops.

Thanks for all the advice!

Visited Boppard last week. There was a big and long construction along the River Walkway. Did you hear no noises from this construction works?

Hi Kim,
Sounds great. Heading there in October. How was the bike riding from Boppard?
Thanks

There was some construction but it didn't really bother us... maybe it is more since we left?

Biking was easy! A couple spots I was a little nervous bc both directions of bike lines were next to each other with traffic. I do not think I would want to take kids on it, but I thought it was fine. We had e-bikes and it could be windy so I feel like regular bikes would be tougher! But there were lots of people who are actual bikers riding easily on regular bikes! We got bikes here. Reserve though bc it is a small shop!
