BMW Welt Munich

Hi All,

I got a reply from BMW Welt Munich Guided tours that all tours are fully booked until 24th Aug 2015 >_< Is there any chance if we (2 persons) come there and book the tour on spot ( perhaps there's cancellation on the day). We initially want to follow the Plant Tour. Has anyone tried this?

Also it's said that the BMW Welt is free to visit. But there's also a mention of the guided tour of Euro7 p.p. Does that mean that we could enter and roam freely without having to follow the guided tour for the BMW Welt building?

TIA

Yes, you are free to roam around most of BMW Welt. It is a huge, fascinating new-car showroom (BMW, of course, along with subsidiaries Rolls-Royce and Mini), delivery center, gift shop, cafe, and exhibit center. It is open longer hours than the BMW Museum across the street -- and it's free.

From BMW Welt, cross a pedestrian bridge over a busy street and you're at the Olympic Tower, for a commanding view of Munich and environs, including the Alps on a clear day.
