I was wondering if anyone could tell me when tickets are released for the BMW musuem
in Munich. I will be there in September and when going on their official website it
appears that there is no availabity for tickets the week in Sept that I will be there.
I would prefer a guided tour but will settle for a regular admission if that is all that is
available.

Yes, all BMW guided tours in September can already be booked.
Let me guess, you are planning for the week from September 8 to 14?
During this time, the IAA mobility, an international automotive trade fair and conference, is taking place in Munich.

Thus BMW will need the people normally doing guided tours for their exibitions during that event and is not offering guided tours.
A visit to the museum is of course still possible.
Perhaps the IAA Experience and IAA Open Space will also offer interesting events for you.
But this trade fair is responsible for high hotel occupancy and higher hotel prices. I hope you have already booked your accommodation.
