Just an FYI for anyone interested. I just got the new RS Germany book which curiously doesn't have a "how to get there" section for the Schwarzwälder Freilichtmuseum. I went to the website for the museum http://en.vogtsbauernhof.de/All-you-need-to-know and it mentions that it's now got it's own train stop. I then went to the DB website to make sure this is true - and it is:)

Yes, I suspect the word on this hasn't gotten around much. I can't say whether it's in Rick's most recent editions, none of which I happen to own. The station was in fact ceremoniously placed into service a little over 3 years ago - see this article with photos (in German.)
