Best wooded trails in the Black Forest

Hello!

I'm looking for any trail recommendations in the black forest! Trails that are heavily wooded or that offer spectacular views are appreciated, and looking for ones that can be done in between 3-8 hours (or broken into segments of that length). Any help is greatly appreciated!

There are printed books on this topic. I'm not a big hiker, nor am I an expert on the BF. But I did hike from touristy Titisee to Hinterzarten, in much less than three hours, and in penny loafers. (Not bragging, just mentioning.) There were three levels of trail, I started on Easy but lost the markings and switched to Moderate, which wasn't very hard anyway. The KONUS cards lent by most hotels (except in Freiburg, I think) give you free public transport, so you don't have to hike "back" if you don't want to.

The TI has maps, but the Titisee TI was so jammed and the line so slow moving that I gave up. I'm sure you can download these for free somewhere. It MAY be correct to say that this is a more casual form of hiking than Extreme Sports in the USA.

Bad Herrenalb is a spa town located in a deep, wooded valley in the northern Black Forest, about an hour by streetcar out of Karlsruhe.

From the website:

Bad Herrenalb offers an extended and well sign-posted network of more
than 150 km of hiking trails into the surrounding valleys and up to
the Black Forest hilltops - magnificent panoramic views and
unforgettable encounters with nature are guaranteed!

I've spent over 2 weeks (16 nights) in Bad Herrenalb in 4 trips. Not only is there great hiking in the area, with the Konus Card that comes with staying there, you can travel by bus to other towns, Bad Wildbad, Calw (Steppenwolf author, Hermann Hesse's hometown), Baden Baden, or Freudenstadt. It also has it's own Therme (Spa), but it's a traditional German Therme, that is, the saunas, steam room, etc., are "Kleiderfrei".
