My wife and I will be traveling from Stuttgart to Liege on July 10. We have checked the train schedule and also the flights. It appears the saver fare is 198 euros for the train. However, if we travel to Aachen and then take a train from there to Liege it would be 81 euros Stuttgart to Aachen plus 38 Aachen to Liege. Or we could take a German Wings flight for 60 euros each plus a 30 euro train from Brussels to Liege. Are we missing any options here?

I see a fare of 79 euros pp on july 10 for Stuttgart to Liege, change in Frankfurt.
