Does anyone know what the best ticket option would be for a train from Nuernberg to Salzburg for a party of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers)?
Are the 9-Euro tickets an option? Bayernkarte or another regional offer ticket?
We plan to stay for 2-3 nights in Salzburg and then back to Nuernberg.

The 9 EUR ticket is an option. It will take 4 to 5 hours with one or two train changes. Must use regional trains only. If both trips occur in the same calendar month, a single 9 EUR ticket per person will cover both ways.
The 9 € tickets replace the Bayern ticket as they are both valid on regional trains.
