Hi all,
I am taking a 16 day trip (two of travel alone) to France and Germany. I have been to Munich before, but I want to spend around 6 days total in Munich and go see some cute surrounding Bavarian towns. I have been recommended Mittenwald and it also looks like Salzburg is close. Any recommendations? Thank you!

Augsburg. We liked the golden rooms in the town hall.
Regensburg. Cathedral and bridge built in 1140's. Just walking about this UNESCO World Heritage Site might be the best part.
Landshut. The castle, the riverfront and highly decorated house facades.
Passau. Hilly old town and river fronts.
