You could check to see if Hotel Krone in Assmannshausen (Rüdesheim) is open again. They are making the hotel fire-compliant and it is supposed to reopen this year. The restaurant there is a cut above!

It‘s new open after a major renovation. Special. My last visit was before the big (2 years?) renovation started. We liked it very much.

The owner was (is?)Haribo Gummy Bears producer.
Trainstation /stop would be „Bahnhof Spay“. Then you would need a taxi. Maybe a 10 Min. taxiride. The Hotel/Restaurant is on a hill.

Restaurant Zur Krone in St. Goar is very good and located adjacent to the train station.
